I have a rescue teacup Yorkie who is not only my service dog but also has great separation anxiety issues ( he’s never left me longer than several hours.) he can’t be left alone… We’ve never been to Richmond. Much less know anyone there! … Anywho Martha WAS and IS A GOD SEND! She was there to watch him EARLY. She’s highly trained and in the business for years but also she has a natural talent with animals. Winston is very sensitive to everything ( i.e. He’s an epilepsy alert dog). Within 10 min he offered her kisses! I was amazed! He never warms up so quickly. She was always responsive and keeping in touch with me when I asked how he was. She’s very honest… of course he showed some signs of anxiety when we were leaving as expected. But he was kissing her, he went on several walks with her. They cuddled. And even took a small nap together. JUST what I told her he needed. She did it all. I hope I have the opportunity to have her watch Winston again. Because of her, I’m much easily more willing to travel 7 hrs instead of 1 or 2 for a show, JUST because I know she’s there for Winston. You can’t put any price on our experience.“
